Dr Lyn is a multilingual (English, Spanish, French)  lecturer, scientist, consultant, and mentor. Dr. Lyn holds four degrees from UK universities – Masters of Law in Corporate Finance, Masters in Criminology and a MBA (Strategic Management) from Aston University/ As a former Adjunct Lecturer at 5 universities in Ghana (Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Ghana Technology University, Accra Business School, Institute of Local Government Studies, and Concord Business College), in addition to 2 College test prep institutes in Ghana. Dr. Ametewee has taught over 1,000 students in Business, Law, Project Management, and GRE and IELTS preparations. Dr. Lyn gained a PhD Fellowship to study Public Health, at Georgia State University where she specialized in Epidemiology and completed a Master’s Certificate in Geographical Information Systems.

During her PhD she completed global health fellowships in the United States at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Graduate Fellowship at Morehouse School of Medicine and Postdoctoral Leadership Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  She has certifications in Health Economics with the University of Oxford (Certified), GIZ/German Sports University Sports for Development and is completing an IBM Endorsed Master’s Certification in Data Science.

Dr. Lyn is a Visiting Lecturer at Accra Business School and an Adjunct Lecturer at Western International College Online/University of Bolton (UK)  and IES Business School (France).

She conducts research with La Javeriana University in Cali Colombia, University of Puerto Rico and has been a member of  PhD Viva Committees for students at the Universidad Central de Nicaragua. Dr. Lyn is a member of the Quality Compliance Committee of Awards for Training and Higher Education (ATHE), the International Advisory Committee of Western International Colleges/Global Pathways College, subsidiaries of the UAE based Knowledgucate Group. She is a  Business Development Consultant in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean for organizations and institutions in the UK and globally.

Over her 30-year career, Dr. Lyn has held Senior Managerial positions in the UK National Health Services including National (Lead) Commissioner for Pediatric Medicine, NHS England and Business Manager, Obstetrics & Gynecology, West Herts NHS Trust.She has also worked as a Consultant for several NHS Trusts and UK Central and Local government departments, UN Women, World Bank/DANIDA Skills Development Fund Council of Technical and Vocational Education Ghana. She has experience of living and working/studying in England, Europe, Africa, the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
