Silverstoolers C3 Graduation: 13 Young Data Scientists Celebrate a Global Milestone
On March 27, 2025, 13 students aged 14 to 22 celebrated their graduation in a lively virtual ceremony from the Silverstoolers Data Science & AI Learning Program (Cohort C3). Representing both New Juaben Senior High School – Njuasco, Ghana and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), these young learners showcased impressive projects developed through hands-on training and mentorship at the Silverstool/B.A.L.L.E Foundation 2nd Online Data Science & AI Fair.
The event featured welcoming remarks by Dr. Lyn Ametewee, PhD MA LLM MBA, Principal & CEO Founder of Silverstool, President of the Silverstoolers Data Science & AI 4 Development Programs, and President & CEO Founder of the B.A.L.L.E Foundation, Ghana; alongside reflections by Dr. Dennis Nii Ayeh Mensah, PhD MSc, Dean of the Silverstoolers Program and Strategic Partner at Silverstool. Valedictorian speeches were delivered by Emmanuel Agyen of New Juaben Senior High School – Njuasco, Ghana and Helina Mesfin Geresu of UESTC, China.
“Data science has shown us how to ask better questions—and look deeper for the answers,” shared Emmanuel Agyen.
“This journey has empowered me to solve problems that matter, not just pass exams,” added Helina Mesfin Geresu.
All graduates were recognized during the ceremony, along with winners from the Online Data Science & AI Fair. Faculty Champions Andy Otibu Mpare and Prince Kwashie-Gamor, both from New Juaben Senior High School – Njuasco, Ghana, were also honored for their dedication and mentorship.
This milestone was made possible thanks to strong partnerships with B.A.L.L.E Foundation (Ghana), Hilltop Schools (Liberia), Presby Senior High Technical School – Adukrom (Ghana), University of Environment & Sustainable Development (Ghana), Professor Ben Klugah-Brown at UESTC (China), The Noble College @GlobalTell (Nigeria), Chabli Boys’ School (Kenya), New Juaben Senior High School – Njuasco (Ghana), James Addison MSc at Addison International Center for Emotional Intelligence (Ghana), and the Ghana Internet Safety Foundation.
We’re proud of our 13 C3 graduates — the future is bright, and they are ready to lead it with data.
